Too often, the “talking heads” on television start the motor in the mouth and run it full speed, often not thinking about what they’re saying. Today, one airhead said of Veterans’ Day, “We owe them for what we have today.” I’m not sure how fair it is to blame Veterans for the shift to communism within the beltway ….
@Louis ... that is a very disturbing truth. It explains the success of the progressive movement in this country. These people understand human nature and they capitalize on it. Who doesn't want something for nothing? And I think it is easy for veterans to rationalize that if anyone deserves a free handout, it is them. As a case in point, there are restaurants that are giving free meals to veterans, and the veterans are lining up 40 deep to get inside the door.
Pathetic if you ask me.
Conservatives, on the other hand, believe there is no such thing as a free meal. We think that nothing is as important as the things we earn or pay for. We want to be "beholden" to no man. That is the ultimate of freedom. So it looks to me as if we conservatives must ultimately lose this war against communism in America.

Their battle is over. My prayer is that they are all with God now and guarding His streets in Heaven.

God bless these men, their families, and may God bless the United States of America ... or, what's left of it.
Our veterans deserve better than the government just elected, but many veterans did vote for Obama. Why? Because they want their "free stuff," too.
Apparently, it is easy to transform someone who was willing to give their life for American ideals into a fucking pussy.
